Areas of Operation
With a significant presence in the ports of Rio de Janeiro, Niterói, and Itaguaí, we also operate at Açu, Forno and Angra dos Reis ports through duly qualified partners with extensive local experience.
The Port of Rio de Janeiro has 31 berths with an extension of 6.7 km of berth quay
in an operational area of 1 million m².
In addition, the port has a structure for fuel supply both in anchorage areas and
in berthed ships.

With modern terminals and cutting-edge infrastructure, Itaguaí is one of the main
ports for coal importation and the flow of iron ore production from the
countryside. The port also has a container terminal, aside from handling
general cargo and general bulk cargoes.

Outside the Itaguaí port complex but still within the Sepetiba Bay, the Ternium Brasil
and Porto Sudeste terminals have important share in the region’s ore, coal, and
steel slab volume of imports and exports.

Terminals
Located in the municipality of Mangaratiba/RJ, the Ilha Guaíba Terminal (TIG) of Vale S/A in the Ilha Grande Bay is located about 130 km from the city of Rio de Janeiro. The terminal has 2 berths and operates with ship loaders.

Iron Ore
In an area of 130Km² and operating in 9 offshore and onshore terminals, managed
by Prumo Logística Global, Port of Açu has capacity to handle a wide range of
cargo, such as:
Iron Ore/Gas and Oil/Fertilizers/Coal/Coke/Bauxite/Project Cargo
Leased by the investor Splenda Offshore, the Forno port is operated by TPAR and can be contacted by phone: (21) 3421-5424 and e-mail: comercial@tpar.com.br.
Controlled by TPAR, the port provides a good structure for offshore operations, aside from a bonded yard and an area for cargo storage.
